Every powder coating booth we manufacture is built around one number: the air velocity across the booth opening. Too little and overspray drifts onto the shop floor; too much and it pulls powder off the component before it lands. We size the blower and the filter area to the opening at the drawing stage, so the velocity stays even from one corner of the face to the other.
Recovery is by cartridge filter, cyclone, or cyclone followed by cartridge for units that change colour many times a day. Reclaimed powder goes back to the hopper instead of into a bag, and on a busy shop that recovery alone accounts for a meaningful part of the running cost.
Booths are fabricated in mild steel or stainless steel, with coved internal corners and no powder trap points, LED lighting inside the chamber, a viewing window and an access door. Sizes are made to your component – openings from small bench booths up to walk-in chambers for full profiles.
