Where chemical pre-treatment cannot reach – heavy scale, weld spatter, mill scale on structural steel, castings straight out of the foundry – shot blasting does the work mechanically. It strips the surface and leaves a keyed profile that coating grips far better than a smooth one.
We set up blasting rooms with recovery floors, enclosed cabinets for small components, and tumblast machines for loose batch work. Every setup includes media recovery, because blast media is a running cost and losing it into the dust collector every shift is expensive.
The dust collector is part of the setup, not an afterthought. Blasting generates a heavy dust load and an undersized collector both fails to protect your operators and lets media escape. We size it with the blasting equipment rather than adding it later.
