A Cyclone Separator spins the extracted air from the booth so that the heavier powder particles are thrown outward and drop into a collection hopper, while only the fine dust carries on to the after-filter. On a shop that changes colour frequently, this is the difference between reclaiming powder in minutes and cleaning a full cartridge bank every time.
We manufacture cyclones in mild steel or stainless steel, sized to the airflow of the booth they serve. Cone angle, inlet velocity and body diameter are calculated from that airflow – a cyclone that is too large for its blower simply passes powder straight through, and one that is too small chokes the booth extraction.
Supplied standalone for retrofitting to an existing booth, or as part of a new booth package with the after-filter module and blower matched to it.
