For components that are small, numerous, or shaped so that spraying will never reach every face, dipping is faster and more complete than any gun. An LDP plant lowers the batch into the paint tank, lifts it, lets it drain over the tank, and moves it into the baking oven – with no operator holding a gun at any point.
We build the paint tank with agitation and level control, the drain zone with a return to the tank so nothing is wasted, the hoist or conveyor that carries the batch, and the baking oven at the end. Viscosity control is the operating variable that matters most, and we set it up with you at commissioning.
Dip painting is well suited to fasteners, clips, brackets, wire goods, small castings, agricultural parts and mesh – anything where the piece count per hour is high and the shape is awkward for a spray gun.
