In a Conveyorised Powder Coating Plant the component is hung once and comes off finished. An overhead chain conveyor carries it through pre-treatment, the drying oven, the coating booth and the curing oven at a speed matched to the cure time – so handling damage, trolley shuffling and idle operators all disappear from the process.
We design the conveyor path around your shed: straight run, U-shape or O-shape, with the turns and the loading bay placed where your material actually enters and leaves. Chain pitch, hanger spacing and drive rating are calculated from the weight per hanger and the pieces per hour you need.
Line speed is the number everything else is derived from. Once it is fixed, the oven length follows from the cure time, the booth length from the number of gun positions, and the pre-treatment tunnel from the dwell time each stage needs. Getting that arithmetic right at the drawing stage is what separates a conveyor line that hits its rated output from one that never does.
