A Dry Oven sits between pre-treatment and the coating booth, and it does one job: drive off every trace of water left on the component after rinsing. Powder applied to a surface that is even slightly damp will blister, pinhole or peel later, and no amount of curing afterwards repairs that.
Our dry ovens run at a lower temperature than a curing oven – typically 100 to 140 degrees – with high air circulation rather than high heat, because moving air dries a shape faster than still heat does. Recirculation ducts along both sides mean water trapped in box sections, joints and blind holes is carried out too, not just surface film.
Built with double wall insulated panels, digital temperature control and diesel, LPG, PNG or electric heating. Batch trolley type or conveyorised tunnel type, matched to whatever the rest of your line is.
