Powder coating runs on compressed air, and the quality of that air decides how the gun behaves. Moisture or oil carried through in the line makes powder clump in the hopper, spit at the nozzle and leave craters in the cured film. More coating faults trace back to the compressor room than most shops expect.
We supply and install all type air compressors – reciprocating for smaller batch setups, screw compressors for continuous lines – along with the air receiver, refrigerant dryer, and the oil and particulate filters that actually make the air usable for coating.
Sizing is done from the total air consumption of every gun, reciprocator and pneumatic valve on your line, plus a margin for leaks that any real installation develops. An undersized compressor runs continuously, gets hot, and pushes more moisture downstream – which is exactly the problem you were trying to avoid.
