Not every factory has a piped gas line, and waiting for one should not hold up production. The Automatic Diesel Fired Powder Coating Plant gives the same programmed cure cycle as our gas fired line, running on a diesel burner with flame safety and automatic ignition.
The oven uses an indirect heat exchanger, so combustion products stay in the flue and never reach the coated surface – important with diesel, where direct firing would mark the finish. Insulated double wall panels and a recirculation blower hold the chamber within a few degrees end to end.
Many customers start on diesel and convert to PNG or LPG later when the gas connection arrives. We build the oven so that conversion is a burner change, not a new oven – the chamber, ducting, controls and heat exchanger all stay.
